Surveying and Intro to GPS

This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills of surveying and Global Positioning Systems (GPS). Students will gain a working knowledge of common surveying equipment and GPS technology. Topics covered in this course include cartography, distance measurement, leveling, traversing, cut and fill, unmanned aerial systems (drones), and GPS.
Prerequisite(s): AENT 1113 with a minimum grade of C.
