Comm Context of Ind & Family

Impact of community contextual influences on human development and families. Socio-psychological and economic impact of housing and community on children and families is explored. The family is examined from an ecological perspective and analyzed as a producing and consuming unit within a community. This course involves an analysis of conceptual frameworks, methodological approaches, and current research. Credit toward graduation not allowed for both FACS4100 and SOCI4100.
