Sociology of Work & Occupation

This course examines the world of work, the changing nature of work, and the implications of these changes for individuals and families. Key themes include theories of work and labor process, intersections of race, ethnicity, and gender, job satisfaction and motivation, labor unions, technological and global challenges, and the structure of professions and occupations.Pre-requisite: eMajor Introduction Quiz.
