Description

An introduction to the structure and function of microorganisms. Topics will include; morphology, nutrition, physiology, genetics and molecular biology of microorganisms with an emphasis on prokaryotes; and their roles in nature and in infection and immunity.<br><br>Prerequisites: BIOL 1108/1108L and CHEM 2041/2041L with a minimum grade of C.
