Accounting Bus Professionals

This course will focus on accounting for a small business, with emphasis on application. Topics include risk assessment and internal controls as well as documentation of transactions and generating meaningful reports using a small business accounting program. Students will use QuickBooks accounting software extensively throughout the course and will be prepared to take the QuickBooks Certification examination, should they choose to do so.<br><br>Prerequisite: Completion or exemption from English Learning Support requirements; MATH 1111 or higher (except MATH 2008), CISM 2201 or BUSA 2100 and ACCT 2101 or AECO 2200 all with a minimum grade of C.
