Oral history is the systematic collection of living people's testimony about their own experiences. The course focuses on the development of student skills in recording, cataloging, and archiving interviews with chosen subjects. Emphasis may be directed to those who have lived a rural life and/or relatives whose testimonies help in geneological record-keeping.
