Intro Information Technology

Prerequisite: CISM 2201 with a minimum grade of C or approval of instructor. This is an introduction to the nature and applications of Information Technology (IT). Students become familiar with the concepts and terminology of IT, including hardware, software, networks, databases, and the Internet. They also study examples of ways in which tools of IT are applied in the workplace. Fall. ITEC 2215 is not open to students who already have credit for CSCI 1100.
