Small Business Management

Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099, ENGL 0099, and MATH 0099. A study of various small business patterns designed to acquaint students with the problems and procedures of starting a business venture. Strong emphasis will be placed on entrepreneurial opportunities and new venture processes, as well as coverage of managerial activities needed for successful operation of small firms.
